Soldiers have taken over the streets of Kaduna metropolis on Sunday, after protests broke out in some parts of the state.
In quick response, the Kaduna State Government announced a 24-hour curfew to prevent the protesters from unleashing mayhem on innocent citizens.
Rumors of the crisis started going round at about 4pm, when calls were received from loved ones, telling their people to stay in safe areas.
Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said that the soldiers were seen using their trucks to convey stranded commuters to their various locations.
It is still unclear what led to the development as at time if filing this report.
